Research Services

The amount of research and timeframe will be tailored to your requirements, ensuring they are focused and meet your expectations.

Research can range from:

  • One individual
  • One branch/surname
  • A paternal or maternal line or both

Using  Jersey and England as examples, the timeframe can go back to:

  • Mid 1800s - when civil registrations of births, marriages and deaths started and detailed Censuses are available
  • Mid 1500s - when church records of baptisms, marriages and deaths were first maintained
  • Pre church records - this tends to be for a well known person

Other services include:

  • Ordering copies of birth, marriage, death records and certificates
  • Production of bespoke reports, be it in summary form or in more detail
  • Visiting local archives, registries etc. to conduct physical research
  • Photographing local sites
  • Digitising family memorabilia, e.g. photos and letters, for inclusion in your Tree.
  • Ongoing management of your Tree to capture the millions of new records becoming available on a regular basis
  • Arranging DNA testing and analysing the results
